Can anyone help me identify these very small fish. Are they fry of a larger species or just a small species. They are less than an inch long. They can be found in 10 Mile Canal in Southwest Florida. They'll eat tiny shrimp pellets. They live in shallow brackish water. I have a bunch of photos and a couple of videos at dropbox. Sorry the quality is not great but these were the best I could get.Aquarium

They look like common mosquito fish to me. Gambusia affinis.

Thanks. Looking those up online where there are photos, that's definitely right. I snagged them out of the canal and put them into a 20 gallon aquarium, which I filled with brackish water from the canal. They are happy there and feed on the very small API sinking shrimp pellets. Oddly, so far they won't eat dried seaweed sheets, which their counterparts down in the canal chase with enthusiasm.
