Help me choose!

Trying to decide on the rest of my stock list!

Can't decide between

Silver dollar fish or roseline sharks

What is everyone's experience on these?

Plan on adding boseman rainbows

And cardinals tetras still.

Current set up is

125gal freshwater

Fluval fx5 canister

Artificial plants.

Stocked with

3 blue gourami

3 dwarf gourami

6 zebra danio

3 German blue ram

2 rubber lip Pleco

2 petricola cat

1 clown loach

(trying to find a few more friends for him. My LFS hasn't received his order)

Tank is established. (Cycled &#128518

And all the fish get along well.

With your current stock I personally wouldn't get Silver Dollars as they're pretty belligerent and rowdy, not to mention large! The Roselines would probably work much better but I ain't never kept them so can't provide accurate feedback as to if they'll bother the others. Also try rehoming the clown loach, they get huge! Takes tons of time though, they also like schools.

I would say roseline sharks. The body type compliments the other fish while the colors are a striking contrast (to some) so it will be a very nice shoal to add to the tank.

Roselines > Silver Dollars for me.

And I agree that the Silver Dollars get large and nippy.
