Remove all the decor, if any, from the quarantine tank. You might want to keep the lights off more than usual to help keep him calm.

I can't remove the decor will it not stress him and he loves his lil cave il be back in an hour please don't go anywhere

Leave the cave but remove anything he's been scratching on. There must be something with sharp edges or he wouldn't have cuts.

You can remove it and get an emery board to see if you can file down the rough edges. It can't stay in the tank with sharp edges.

If I were you, I'd soak that tank and decor in bleachy water and then rinse, rinse, rinse. After that, I'd let it airdry for at least a week, then think about putting a quarantine tank back together.

Shane, please don't rush into getting another fish. Sometimes you have to take this slowly in order to get the best results.
