Help please.

One if my bolivian rams has a piece if the Eco complete stuck in his mouth and I can't catch him to get it out without uprooting all the plants. Should I just watch to see if he gets it unstuck or am I stuck pulling all the plants up?

It took a few hours but he finally got it unstuck. I felt bad cus he was trying so hard to get it out but couldn't. I'm not sure how he finally got it out but he did so all is well again.
