Help please

So I've noticed that my betta fish has had this "pink" dot on his side , I think it might be a little cut he got from his old plastic plant ( I took it out and replaced it with a silk plant ) but it has been getting better because it used to be worse , I don't think it would be a parasite or anything like that because it would be spreading and he has had it for a week or two , he's acting normal and everything , oh and p.s he is in a 3 gallon by himself

If it's getting better then I would just let it be. Medications can cause a big headache.

Okay I'll keep checking to see if it gets worse or better
