Besides don't keep more than a pair and like most cichlids their colors come in with maturity. Not really anything else.

Rams will eat shrimp.

And silver sharks (I'm assuming a Colombian shark) get to 14", are brackish, and need schools.

I have a trio, if given enough space a males of tank strain rams will spawn with several females, but always favor the most productive one. It's definitely not a task for a beginner or the feint of heart. Beginners definitely get pairs, you also need to keep those trates in check.
