Hi,

Just a quick question, anyone have a problem with a white "fur" fungus in your tank? I just noticed it last night and recently added some RCS from a new store I discovered.
At this point I'm not even sure it is a fungus... I tried to take a pic of it but it will not show up, the "threads" are so fine. It is mainly growing on the rear of the drift wood in the tank, well out of the way of the light. And if anyone would be so kind as to tell me how it can be treated I would be very grateful!! I have uploaded pics in the return vent you can see it but, if you look close at the driftwood to the left you can see something that looks like brown " hair".
Thanks!

Hi

I failed to say, the other brown hairy things on the intake in the drift wood pic is a little bit of dead java moss, so the fungus is not growing there. the fish seem healthy... They eat and do not have white spots.
