Hello all ! I'm new to the forums and wanted to say HI ! I also have a question. I started my tank 1/2/14 its a 30 gal. After 4 days i added 2 convicts, they are doing well . I started testing the water 1/6/14 temp:78, ph 7.6 , nitrate: 40 mg/l , nitrite: 0 , Ammonia: .50 mg/l and performed a 25% water change. I have been testing and performing 25% water changes every 2 days.

1/10/14 78 7.6 20 1.0 2.0
1/12/14 78 7.6 20 1.0 2.0
1/14/14 78 7.4 20 1.0 2.0
1/16/14 78 6.4 5.0 1.0 0
My concern is if my levels are OK during Nitrogen Cycle, and if my ph should drop like that? Will my fish be ok? They are showing good color and no sign of stress. I would appreciate any help one could offer.
