Hill stream loaches and koi

Can I keep hill stream loaches with my baby koi?

Ya, they both like cool water. But not for long because your koi will just sucked them right up when it big enough. Hillstream Loaches only get 3". Kois get over 3 feet long. Is this a pond that you keep them in?

This is an aquarium right now but the koi is going in a pond in late spring once its finally finished

Then you should be fine.

Hillstream loaches need seriously oxygenated water and strong filter flow. A river type set up with powerheads is often recommended.
