Soooooo, I give my planted tanks a small dosage of rock salt every now and then because I have learned that it is very healthy for plants (There are MANY minerals in rock salt) and Ive been using it on my bonsai and various other plants to good effect. One thing I was wondering, could it raise the PH? I would think it could since it's so full of minerals. every time I add it to my tanks there is an explosion of breeding in the fish and groth for the plants. anybody want to be nerdy and explain the facts to me? Im really curious.
