I've been looking into making my own food for my fish, I've looked online at some recipes. Anyone have any they'd like to recommend? In the recipes where you freeze your mixture, does it need to be left in the freezer after it's been frozen? I'm confused to as if it would melt or not, or if it would remain solid? If it would melt, I'd like some recipes that don't include freezing...

I can offer a link to goldfish recipes! Basically, any homemade gel food is a combo of veggies, protien(s) and some extras such as garlic, probiotics, vitamins, etc plus plain gelatin to form it. Once the gel sets in the fridge, you can cut it into cubes & freeze any extra for future use (defrost in fridge the night before use). One batch of food makes alot of food so theres lots of extra to freeze. As long as theres enough gelatin, it wont melt or liquify. You will know ahead of time if theres enough gelatin in mix because it wont set if theres not enough. Goldfish recipes: http://thegab.org/Goldfishgelfoodrecipes.html

edit- sorry, heres the correct link: http://thegab.org/Goldfish/gelfoodrecipes.html
