Don't take it out . Some members will trade you other plants for some of your horwort.....

Well, I've never shipped or put anything into a box and sent it to somebody...

Can I have some tips as to what to do and how to do it?

Just keep a little small portion each time you do a water change. Or if you prefer, get a nice lotus plant instead. That will also provide good surface coverage for your crypts. But they do get out of hand quickly.

You could fill the back side up with some fast stem plants like rotala indica.
