How can i get rid of Springtails ??

Hi all,

i have a number of extremely tiny bugs that are living on the surface of my 56g tank and on the Amazon Frogbit that is growing on the surface.

i am quite certain they are Springtails.

can anyone give me advice as to how i can eliminate them from my tank.
my tank has regular water changes and the parameters are perfect.
I do remove all plant waste..... but they are still there!!!
Any ideas????

I don't know if it's possible. If you don't have any surface dwelling fish in there you could add something like a gourami to help control the population.
