How long does pellet food last?

Like the title says, I have a can of cichlid pellet food that I bought in february of this year. What are the odds it is still good? I don't have anyone to feed it to yet (no ones mouth is big enough), but I might be getting a fish that can eat it soon.

It should have a use by date on it.

As long as it hasn't set opened to the air, I'd say it's still good.

The only fish food I have that has an expiration date is my Hikari Algae Waffers, they are good until 2009 unopened.

yea, there was no use by date on the can. Cool then, if they are still good, i will keep them around. Thanks guys!!
