Just wondering how long it usually takes for a gravid spot to appear on livebearers. My 2 male platys have been pursuing my females pretty consistently. I know what to look for I'm just wondering if anyone has an idea on the timeline it takes to show up. On another note my fiancé and I found out that we are expecting a baby boy in June 
so now I am looking at making a small aquarium setup for after he arrives. Thinking a 5 gallon or another ten gallon. Any thoughts on what would be a good setup for him to gaze upon at bedtime.
