How many lbs of stone can I use

How many lbs of stone can I use in a 20 gallon tank? I don't want to have to much in there and crack the glass or anything like that. Went to my lake and found some neat stone and driftwood that I plan to us but would like to have a rough idea of how much weight is to much weight for the tank to handle. Is there a general rule like a couple lbs per gallon or something?
