How often should nerites be fed?

Hi everyone! I got 3 nerites on monday to help with some algae in my 28g tank. I haven't fed them any algae wafers since then. How often should they be fed and how much?

An algae wafer every other day. They can find algae in between.

I never feed my nerites. They eat leftover food and debris and do just fine.
