You can find pure ammonia at any hardware store. The key is to find pure ammonia, Ace's Hardware sells it and you can use it to begin your cycle.

No those aren't ammonia. They are to "rid" of ammonia, but that's another explanation.

You need pure ammonia with no fragrance or additives. This is what was mentioned above: Ace Ammonia

Yup Yup, I believe Blue Ribbon Ammonia works to if you can't find the Ace one.
