How to Keep a safe substrate ???

Hey guyz.

I have a 75 Gal planted tank with Discus on it. I'm moving in 3 weeks to my new home and I don't know what to do with my substrate (fluorite).

Because I'm going on vacations after moving, I won't be able to set up the aquarium right away, so I'll leave the fish just in a 75 gal bare bottom tank. My plants... well my cousin is very happy because he has a new bunch of them now...

So, do I have to leave the substrate in water, can I storage it in bags, what I have to do ????

Just put it in plastic bags - it will be fine. You could also just put it in a clean bucket.

I would rinse it, then put it in bags.
