How to set up sump?

I have a fresh water tank with an over flow box into to a tank a need advice on how to set the tank up and what biomedia/ filter media to use (pictures would do great)

How's it set up? Do you have a link to the one you purchased? Or is it just a tank?

All you really need is a pre filter in the over flow box then finer pads in the sump. You could add a light and throw plants out of it too.

This is part of my sump ( in the picture) there is another part that the pvc is hooked to in the picture that goes threw filter pads then bio balls. Sorry I have no picture of that part at this time.
