how to stick backrounds on tanks?

Hey everyone. I have a black backround that I want to put on my tank. What is the way to go about doing that?

Canola oil, just lather a very thin layer and stick it on. You can easily push air bubbles out and it stays on great. Did mine two years ago and still sticking like day one.

I like this idea I just taped mine on my betta tank and the other tank it's just laying on it for now will try this

Yeah that will disappear, I never noticed an odor before
