How should I do this get the oscar before the danios so he knows where to find the food or get some type of sinking food for them any ideas.

How should I do this get the oscar before the danios so he knows where to find the food or get some type of sinking food for them any ideas.

Unfortunately, there's not too much you can do.
1. Separate the fish from each other during feeding time (Not practical and a hassle)

2. Give up the danios altogether (Pretty sad)

3. Feed at different sides of the tank (Probably won't work)

So what options you do have are pretty impractical or bleak. I myself would not keep oscars with much of anything, they are pretty nasty things...

I would just feed enough so that both the danios and Oscar get enough. If they are going to eat Oscar food, let them. I would recommend getting sinking pellets so you can focus the diet on the species, though.

Oaky will just try some type of sinking pellet for the danios thanks for the input.
