I did something silly (mystery fish ID).

I saw a lonely fish in a tank used to house plants for sale at a LFS. I asked what it was, and they said it "came from Florida and rode in with a batch of guppies". So what did I do? I bought it, of course

Any idea what it is? The only other info I've got is that "it eats like a bass".

I spent some time looking around and I think it might be some kind of "darter", but I have no idea which. And I can't really even confirm that much.
