I dropped the melafix bottle in my tank...

Okay hear me out it's not my fault, my mother opened my room door and the dog ran in and jumped on me, and then it fell thankfully not all of it went in but I'm currently doing a water change praying i dont lose my fish

Multiple water changes should do it. You could also add carbon to the tank.

It will form an oil.slick on surface. Surface agitation would be good.
