I need a list of NIPPY fish - so I can avoid them at the LFS

if ever I changed my setup, I would like to know which fish to avoid because they are nippy.

So I have:
Tiger Barbs
Gouramis


are silver dollars nippy

serpae tetras can be nippy, bettas obviously

My silver dollars were never nippy. Someone may have had a different experience. Cichlids can be too.

I have a Calico goldfish that is a bit on the nippy side. Just about ate the fins off of my Pearlscale.

Tinfoil Barbs
Black Widow tetras and any larger tetras can be nippy

Well there goes more then half the species of FW fish in the world.. :?

barbs are the big one.. but for some reason cherries arent suppose to be too bad..

as a rule.. Gouramis aren't nippy. IMO

alot of fish will nip.. if there is a unheathy fish. heathy fish will nip it period.
you could add all scavengers, loaches and pleco's to your list there.. not a good indicator IMO
