The local walmart where i live has glofish danios for 1.97 a peice and was thinking about setting up a 10gal glofish tank with about 10-15 in their. any ideas on the set up

I'm not experienced with glo-fish but I know the general rule is an inch of fish for every gallon you have. I would do 3 to start out with and make sure they don't die or lose color, then add more as you go. I wouldn't do more than 5-7 and you'll have a happier Eco-system. Good luck, glo-fish are awesome

Glofish are just zebra danios, and they require 20 gallons minimum (and the 20 long, not the 20 tall) because they are active and need the swimming space. The inch per gallon rule is really inaccurate and outdated. Would you put a 10 inch fish in a 10 gallon?

If you want 10-15 Glofish you should probably actually look at around a 30 gallon tank. Even in a 20 long I would think 6-8 is more ideal. 10 is too small as already stated.
