I was always able to move my 58 gal in a Nissan Sentra. I know the dimensions are different, but do some measuring, you might be surprised.

A 55 gallon will easly fit in the back seat os a standard 4 door. Stick the stand in the trunk and tie it down. You do not need a truck.

Neither my fiance nor myself have a 4-door, even my local family members dont have 4 door cars. I can rent a full-size truck for $20 for a half day, which is plenty of time.

I could get a 55 gallon in the back seat (more like cubby) of a Mustang.. No problem.. They are very narrow tanks

the 55 is a very narow tank.. it should fit behind the seats (a old blanket would help protect that leather )
