Id on plecos

I'm just at a friends house and they have 2 plecos one I think is a common and the other is a bristle nose but is it male or female?

This was the other one is it just a common Pleco?

An easy way to see if you have a bristle nose is to net the fish. If you find spines near the gill area it's a bristle nose pleco.

An even easier way to tell is looking to see if they have horizontal stripes along the dorsal. Much easier than netting a pleco IMO.
 
I got one Pleco that has really different colouring compared to the other bristlenose I will try get a pic hopefully it's not a common otherwise I need to re home or get a big tank
