Is 78F a good temp to keep bettas at? The heater I bought with my betta is not adjustable and is supposed to keep the water at 78. I'm not worried, just curious.

Yes it's ok. Do you monitor the temperature with a thermometer ? Some heater heat more with lower water volume...
