Ideas For Stocking Needed

I have a 20 Gallon Tall fish tank which only right now has a young rainbow shark which is going to be moved to a friends 55 gallon. I am planning on buying either 1 or a pair of dwarf gourami's and 3 corys.

Any other ideas of what I should add, I know there is plenty out there, I just can't make up my mind hehe. So any ideas would be welcomed.

I would not get 2 gourami's. I had 2 and they recently had to be seperated....The bigger fat one was picking on the smaller one and he NEVER had any peace...poor guy. He also nipped another ones tail fins off and stressed him to death. I have a 20G long, and it contains; 1 DG, 6 loaches and 4 Harlequin Rasboras. Good luck with your tank!!!

if you get corys, get 5... how about some cherry barbs, red wag platys, and corys?

If I were to get lets say 5 cherry barbs, would they nip a DG fins??

Normally a group of them will keep nipping down. 5 should do it or maybe 6. I have 6 tiger barbs, 6 columbian tetras and 5 serpae tetras in a 29 and none of them nip or even chase.
