If only I could put loaches in my filter

I have 4 marvelous yoyo loaches you cleared my 75g tank of snails in just a few weeks.

Unfortunately, my filter is lousy with them. I guess it doesn't really matter, but is there any way to get rid of them, short of taking the filter offline for an extended period of time?

If the tank has been running for a long time, I would rinse out the filter really well, then I would replace the filter cartridge.
