in tank or canister filter which is better?

I saw a fluval in tank filter at the LFS and I had planned on getting a fluval 306 to replace my busted eheim can so I was wondering if anyone had heard of or had experience with the in tank filters.. Should I stay with canisters or are these a good option to consider.

If you're willing to spend the money on a canister they are definitely the best way to go.
