increase ph and kh

is there anything natural like u can find at a grocery store to increase ph and to increase kh. i just bought 2 electric yellows and 3 electric blues tn,beautiful fish!!:)
 
Crushed coral from the LFS would do that. Place it in a canister filter or HOB and it should help. There are several good threads that discuss this. Try a search of the Freshwater forums using the term 'crushed coral'.
 
Crushed coral is great at inreasing the pH and kH. Some use baking soda, but I wouldn't recommend it. It can be tricky and the crushed coral is more of a set it and forget it thing. You don't have to dose the tank everytime you do a water change. And a 50 lb bag of it will last you a LONG time. :D I use it in my African Cichlid tank.
