Is aluminum toxic to fish?

I guys, I am making a divider for my tank out of an aluminium frame and aluminium fly screen. Is this ok to put in my tank? It is an african cichlid tank.

It really depends on the type of aluminum you use this may sound stupid but there are certain types that are better for water use then others if u get the wrong sort u can probably start leeching other metals into your water id personally not use aluminum and go with acrylic
