Is it possible to have a half land tank for crabs and frogs? Just curious is this would work or if there are any compatibility issues (such as seeing each other as food).

I'm pretty fond of inverts and my wife likes frogs (especially ADFs) so I figured I'd split the difference if it was possible and go with a half and half tank.

The tank I would be using is a 36 gallon bowfront with a sand substrate. Of course I would build the decorations accordingly if these two are fine together. I also have 2 spare HOB filters at my disposal, but I can't figure out a way to utilize one without causing a huge splash from the output (unless it drained over the land portion and trickled back into the water end?).

Thoughts? :)

And if you pick one then you can just get rocks and build a waterfall type thing for the output from the filter
