I have no personal experience but I've seen people use it for their backgrounds and attaching plants to it, so I would assume it's fine.

I agree, but why would you want to?
Also make sure there is no boarder on the cork board or any paint on it

I was going to use the cork board as a backing then put java moss on it and add a net to the front to hold it on then use it as a java moss wall sounded like a good idea
