My fire parrot is starting to act a LITTLE bit better but now that I can see her I don't know if the line of black spots near the top are supposed to be there or not? Is there some kind of disease that gives a line of spots?

Are they spots? Are they raised? Are they flat? Does it look like something is attatched to your fish? A better description of the spots will help greatly. The only thing I am aware of that does this is external parasites. Course parrots are common for black markings as well.

the markings do not look raised. It seems that as if they belong there. I have seen most other of the same fish @ the LFS without the markings. She is a weird fish - hides A LOT. Actually uprooted a large plaster arch and lifted it on it's side. She must do this at night because she is quite inactive during the day.
