Is my guppy ok?

I think my guppy is squared off, also she’s not eating, staying near the top, hiding in plants or hanging about near the heater, not swimming around but her tail keeps 'shivering'. I put her a seperate tank 4 days ago but she's been like this for 4 days. Is she allright?

She is likely about to give birth. I would just leave her alone for a few more days and see what happens. It tends to be a bit of a stressful experience

Thanks a lot. I just didn't know how long she would be like this. This is my 1st live birth.

It just depends. Sometimes they will just hold it until they feel comfortable. Others you will run to the store and come back an hour later to 50 fry in the tank.

You might try subduing the lighting a little, that will often make a fish feel more comfy.

Thanks, I've not had the lighting on for 3 days. Maybe I was worrying too much, guess I'll just have to wait.
