Looks like it to me; I google searched it and the pics that came up were the same thing. Except the ones I saw looked a little fatter. But this pic may be a baby or something

that pic is of mine.. it has been in my tank about 3.5 years, might even be 4 years. this is the bigger of the 2 I have, it is about 4-4.5" long I think

tank needs cleaning, but here is a group shot.. LOL you can see my 5 year old Black Skirt on the bottom left..

Yah,aussie rainbow it is.You also have to note there are two different species that share the common name "australian rainbowfish". One looks like your fish the other looks more rounded.
