Is this safe?

Hey! I have an Aquatic salamander (Sloop) and I just caught this fish in the creek today. He flopped onto the river bank! I may name him Jerrymiyah? Anyways. I want to know if Jerrymiyah (pic 2), will eat Sloop (pic 1)? Thanks everyone!

From the research i’ve done, it seems your salamander may actually be more likely to eat the fish lol. If I were you, i’d try to figure out what kind of fish he is and see how aggressive they are/how big they grow to be because that will likely be helpful. Also, how old is the salamander? Will it grow more?

He’s still a nymph. He hasn’t lost his little neck feather things. He should probably grow another few inches. The fish right now though is about twice his size if not more. I’ve seen him chase after the minnows in my tank, just like Sloop does. So I wasn’t sure if it was like big eats small or something. For some reason I can’t figure out what kind of fish he is, I guess I’ll just keep looking lol
