I am planning to buy JBL Pressurized CO2 system for my new 52g aquarium (I have tested successfully my current aquarium with self made CO2 injector)

There are a lot of models present and I am confused which one is appropriate for me. e.g.
JBL CO2 set Easy 1, Easy 2

JBL CO2 set Profi 1, Profi 2, Profi 3

Anyone had experience with these systems ?
Is it a good idea to buy the complete set or buy the parts and assemble it myself ?

I want to buy an automated system so that when aquarium light is on CO2 system starts and when off CO2 system stops, And for aquarium light I already have planned an automated timer switch so that I don't need to bother about switching on/off the light and CO2 system.

Rather than just posting small photos of the different systems, please post links to websites selling the actual JBJ packages, since those will actually list all the componenets.

From teh sounds of it, what you need is a regulator with a solenoid valve. Solenoid plugs into your timer which turns it on and off.

Honestly I wouldn't buy the JBJ cylinder, because it looks tiny, maybe a 1kg cylinder? Thats not terribly big. I'd get a 5lb CO2 cylinder if you can find one.

I just ordered a new 5lb aluminum tank for my first foray into CO2 injection. Got it from http://www.micromatic.com/draft-keg-beer/gas-equipment-cid-19.html Which is an online beer brewing/dispensing/tap place. $60 plus shipping. Could've probably done better semi-locally, but I live in the sticks. I'm just hoping the local fire extinguisher place can charge it or I'm in for a drive.

Just an idea...

That's actually not a bad price at all for a new aluminum cylinder.

just be 100% sure that where ever you have it filled...that they FILL it and don't swap it out. Espeically not swap it out for an old, beat up steel cylinder.

Here is the link. http://www.jbl.de/index_uk.html Unfortunately Easy1 & 2 models are only visible when you switch to German language. I have looked for the cylinder prices and found out this link .http://www.bierzapfanlage.com/webshop/?target=hauptgruppe&id=16& Suggest which one is good for 52g and what else components shall I buy to make it complete.

The "easy 1" and "easy 2" systems look like simple passive systems that use something like yeast and suger in solution to generate CO2 (at an uncontrolled rate) and diffuse it into the tank with a simple air-stone (or similar). This would not meet your stated needs (switchable)

The ProFlora 1,2,3 are just incremental steps in a pressurized CO2 system.
-Number 1 provides a tank, regulator (fixed output like the JBJ available in the USA), and a diffuser of some kind that require at least 30cm of water depth (a bubble ladder?)
-Number 2 adds a solenoid valve to the regulator, so you can switch off flow at night with a standard lamp or appliance timer.
-Number 3 includes the solenoid, but also adds a pH controller, so the system is completely (well, almost) autonomous. It's turns the CO2 supply on and off as necessary to maintain a pre-set CO2 level in the tank.

According to your first post, only the last two will satisfy your needs.

Only you can answer whether it's cheaper to buy a pre-packaged system or to buy individual pieces and assemble it yourself. Obviously, you'll have to find a source for all the parts and add the costs together.

I just bought a system similar to the ProFlora 3, but with a gas cylinder twice as big and a diffuser MUCH bigger for about $350 US. Don't know if that helps, but it's the best I can do from Ohio, USA!

Good Luck!
