Just another build thread, sorta

I'm doing a pretty substantial build with some frag tanks that I got a good deal on. They aren't going to be show tanks but serve a more utilitarian purpose. There's 4 tanks and they are 96x14x10. I'm considering using a 40b as a central sump since I have one available.

The goal is to have the upper two tiers as emergent plant tanks, no idea about the bottom two yet. Lighting will be 20 10w led floodlights.

Thanks, it's going to be interesting, especially the lighting part.

I haven't even gone in there to work on it yet, busy with other stuff. Planning to work on it today, though. At this point I'm just going to patch over some of the overflow holes since they are partially blocked by the stand. I'm not sure what is up with the baffle design or why they have 6 holes drilled in the tank at the center, so if anyone knows what that is about I'd like to hear it.

Thought I'd do a quick update. Lights are in, but I need more. Instead of doing 5 on each level I'm doing 6, seems like it'll be enough coverage. I left a gap on each level for where I'm putting the lights when they come in.

I got the return lines mostly piped in over the weekend, and was planning to do the overflows today but couldn't stop dragging around, so hopefully tomorrow or this upcoming weekend it'll be functional.

Just finished the piping this weekend. Working on the sump throughout this week, should be in action by Friday.
