So I have a community tank which contains a couple of peppered corys. Today I'm supposed to be studying and I look in the tank and they're obviously spawning. So I sit and watch the female go all around the tank depositing eggs...followed quite closely by a couple of the danios. I'm sure you can imagine what happened to those eggs! I was feeling guilty and debating if I should try and rescue one I saw on a plant that the danios missed...and then the mom came and ate it! Guess I won't be having baby corys. Probably good as I don't have a breeding tank.

If I didn't remove the eggs within 30 minutes the cories at mine also. Test you tank with everything you can so that you know next time you actually want to breed them where everything was and maybe you will be able to recreate it.
