Keeping Tetras and Other Soft Water Species: Please Help

Your not exactly dreaming Nemo, but how would measure the correct amounts of citric acid used. I can't see squeezing lemons into my tank LOL.

I was thinking Lemon Crystals :).

Upon further research, I discovered that the use of citric acid in aquaria is avoided mainly because its decomposition leaves gummy residue on the equipment and substrate. Some commercial acid buffers, however, do use small concentrations of citric acid.
