khuli loaches

Will adding one or two Khuli loaches cause any stress or over crowding if i am at 18.5" of fish in a 20 gallon tank (refereing to the 1" of fish for every gallon).

Also I have heard that the Khuli loaches will more times then not disappear into the gravel to never be seen again.

One more thing i have your basic gravel substrate is that going to be too sharp for the khuli loach.

I think 1 or 2 khuli loaches would be fine. As for disappearing forever, nope. They will burrow in the gravel, but won't disappear forever. And your basic gravel is just fine. And if you do get them, your tank will definitely be maxed out for sure.

My kuhli's remain hidden most of the day but at every feeding they come out and zip all over the tank in a frenzy.
