Last hour of empty tank

Last hour or two of looking at empty tank. Getting ready to start stocking. How long after the fish are in should I feed? Any last minute tips are appreciated.

Every fish is different, but most times new fish are too nervous or stressed to eat on first day. You can try putting minimal fish food at night to see if they eat.

As already stated fish are quite stressed after being added to a new tank. The best thing is to turn off the lights for the rest of the day and wait until the next day to feed them.
