Lazy Gouramis

Hello everyone, I have 2 yellow gouramis with a whole bunch of swordfishes and Guppies. My gouramis seem to keep behind decorations or inside of them. They only come up to the surface when I add water to my aquarium. Nitrite, Nitrate, Ammonia and hardness are all in good order. Is this normal? Thanks for any help. Cheers!

How long have they been in there it takes awhile for them to adapt to their new enviroment and movement outside the tank they are shy fish they'll be ok in a week or so

my gourami hid for almost a full 2 weeks before he got comfortable in there new home... now he almost schools with my mollies and greets me when i get close...
