Lead weights

Hi, just received these live plants do I take the lead weight off and plant the stems separately or do I just plant it as a bunch? And can someone tell me what species the plants are and how to care for them? Picture below:

Yes, remove the lead strip and plant individually in groups about 1” apart.
The red ones look like a species of Ludwigia and the green ones a species of Rotala.

First one is a type of Amazon sword, possibly Ocelot or Kleiner Bar. Second looks like Anubias nana.
