LFS mixed african cichlids

so i was thinking for my 55g stocklist and though about a african cichlid tank, i always wondered what consists in a "mixed african cichlid" in most LFS, they are pretty cheap and very colorful so thats why i thought about getting some in the future, i asked the employees and they dont even know

They're just mutt Mbuna most of the time.
