Lighting

I have a very heavily planted aquarium. I ordered a t8 floramax light which will arrive tomorrow. I currently have basic LED lights.

I've read that the Floramax light is very dim.

My question is can I use my LEDs in conjunction with the Floramax?

Hello LC...

By all means supplement your lighting if you have the room. The fish certainly won't care and the aquatic plants are like other living things, they'll do better with a variety of spectrum lighting.

Just a suggestion though. You're the "head tank keeper".

You plants will be very happy with more light. I use Led and T5HO fixtures together all the time.
